Got NR Iowa fishing license...lakes in Western part of state?

Live between Omaha and Blair. First time purchasing non-resident Iowa fishing license.

 

Recommendations for lakes on the western side of Iowa(?)

Lake Anita, Three Mile, 12 Mile

Okoboji is super hot right now. Tournament yesterday took almost 32 lbs to win and last year pretty much every tournament all year long took 25-28 lbs to win

blue lake (the south end lily pads used to be phenomenal)

 

find the rock or brush piles and fish them with a jig or the grass lines with a chatterbait and you will have fun

@Hawkeye21, I fished Prairie Rose one time. Lots of people chasing Crappie. I caught a few bass. Interesting lake.

 

I need to get back over to Iowa this fall.

 

Suggestions?

I fished a tournament at Little River in Leon this summer for the first time and I really like the lake. North side is alot of timber but the south end is pretty open.
