Michael_Westen Posted April 24, 2024 Posted April 24, 2024 I've been using a Shimano Curado 6' 10" Medium, Fast casting rod for a few years and thought about getting the Teramar Southeast casting 7' M-H, Fast casting rod. A lot of what I've read looks like this series of rods were designed for saltwater, is this correct? Would this be a good rod for bass fishing? I have a 7' spinning rod for my plastics. Wanted a good 7" casting rod with cork handle. Thanks for any help. Quote
Peacedivision Posted April 24, 2024 Posted April 24, 2024 They're inshore rods, so that MH is going to be have lot more power than a typical bass MH rod. Rated to 1-1/2oz max it's probably closer to a heavy or extra heavy bass rod. Quote

The other 7' says 1/2oz - 1 1/2oz. Quote
Michael_Westen Posted April 24, 2024 Author Posted April 24, 2024 I also was looking at the Shimano Clarus F in 7' Medium, Fast & 7' Medium-Heavy, Fast. Just curious which power to go with??? Quote
