Susky River Rat Posted April 22, 2024 Posted April 22, 2024 I headed out on the susky both days this weekend. On Saturday I went with my dad who is recovering from kidney cancer. It was the first time I got to fish with him this year. Actually ahead of schedule. Sunday I went with a buddy. the pattern for both days was pretty much the same. Burning crank baits smashing them into rocks. My dad did get some on ned rigs too. Both trips were about 3-4 hours. I’d say for the weekend a total of 40ish fish were boated. Nothing crazy. My buddy did however get a rare large mouth. 11 Quote
Super User Dwight Hottle Posted April 22, 2024 Super User Posted April 22, 2024 Sounds like a great weekend. I’ll bet that trip with your dad was really therapeutic for both of you. I know my first smallie trip after my cancer surgery was a big highlight for me. 2 1 Quote
