I grabbed me a great condition Metanium '16 off eBay. I love the reel but found out it has one fault...the thumb bar rubber will pop off on you. I was lucky to not lose it the first time. Superglued back on but I can tell it's loose and will likely pop off again...superglue doesn't bond too well to rubber nor metal. Is epoxy a good idea?

Same general idea as Fuze*It. Glue that's waterproof and compliant instead of brittle like CA glue(s), even gel types.
