I throw my jerkbaits on a shimano Intenza medium fast. It’s a moderate rod. I use 12 pound fluorocarbon Line paired with a curado k I won’t use another rod for jerks. If something happend to my rod I’d buy the exact one again.

I was asking a similar question last year and folks pointed me towards the Denali Kovert spinning rod. I got the 7'6" medium-moderate model. I like it a lot, but I think the 6'10" would be ideal.
