6lbs and 8lbs Test???

Best or Strongest line to pair with my Shimano Symetre 1500fi & Fenwick Rod.

Need Excellent for casting ,strongest pound for pound, best color type etc..... o I might  switch off spool do some trout once and a while recommendations please.

Xmas gift Gotta pick line so I can go fishin!

Welcome aboard!

I fish Yo-Zuri Hybrid Ultra Soft #4 (8.5 lb tes, .009" diameter) or #6 (11.9 lb test, .010" diameter) on all spinning tackle. The line is a bonded fluorocarbon/nylon copolymer, has very little memory and is tough as nails. Although I don't think the color is very important, I suggest green.
