The Zoom Ultravibe Speed Worm comes in the standard size and the magnum size : I’ve read where no matter the size bass being targeted that there seems to be a preference for the larger size magnum Ultravibe Speed worm (I believe due to action) … What size Zoom Ultravibe Speed Worm do you prefer and do you believe one size has better action than the other ?

I don't really have a size preference, but lean to the smaller of these two in clear water. It's a killer plastic worm.

I wish zoom made these in a 'baby' size like flukes and brush hogs. Love the standard UV speedworm, but I usually get better results with the gambler 5" paddle tail worm after cutting the tail manually.

I use 4-5", texas-rigged curly-tail grubs for similar applications, too. Fantastic for topwater.

If I could only have one I would use the 7“. I didn’t fish it enough last season. The 7” will get you better bites. Try the Gambler version

I generally go for the smaller size but I like the magnum when the water is dingy or when I'm trying to fish it weightless like a topwater.

My slam dunk, without a doubt, #1 bait of any kind is the Magnum UV Speed Worm, and has been for maybe 10-15 yrs now.

90% of the time I use the Magnum for any horizontal presentation especially in and through vegetation of any kind.
The bulk of it coupled with the larger tail section makes it ideal for me especially in tannic waters.
It is also more effective on top regardless of conditions.

I’ll use the 5.5” standard size for smaller waters i.e. canals and ponds etc.

I also use it for targeting brush piles.
Mostly when vertically targeting a smaller specific spot, I’ll usually throw the standard size first, but it’s not a hard rule.

Pretty much what @Mike L said, except I fish the 6" Ultravibe Speed Worm more than the Magnum.

Watermelon Neon with the tail dipped in Spike-It Dip-N-Glo Chartreuse Garlic.

I fish a Zoom Speedworm year round mostly the smaller one. After the spawn I like the magnum better. Can’t go wrong with either.

During spawn and when the males are guarding fry the standard Speed Worm is my only lure on one of the lakes I fish.  I fish it as weightless as I possibly can (based on wind) and I gently shake it down through shallow laydowns and brush.  The males on fry just hammer it.  It's a sure thing.

I like the smaller one. One my largest LMB was caught on it. I haven't used the magnum size much yet. When I have used it I didn't get any bites on it.

I considered thd Gambler but in a YouTube pool test the original Zoom Ultra Vibe Speed Wirm had a better action . I’m not a bass , so perhaps the slower , less erratic Gambler tail action is attractive to bass  ?
