Super User Bankc Posted April 9, 2024 Super User Posted April 9, 2024 My only problem with inline spinners and bass is inline spinners love to get hung up on anything and everything. And since we don't really have much of a smallmouth population here, they're often not the best choice, since fishing open water is generally unproductive. But under the right conditions, they be a great lure. I always keep a few with me, even if I rarely get around to using them. Quote
Super User king fisher Posted April 9, 2024 Super User Posted April 9, 2024 If I could only have one lure it would be an inline spinner. I would prefer to have many different sizes, blade types, and colors, but if I could only have one, it would be a Blue Fox Vibrax #3 silver blade, blue body, single hook. I am confident I could catch fish anywhere in the world with this bait. Last year it killed a skunk for me with a 5.5 pound bass. 2 Quote

FishTax Posted April 9, 2024 Posted April 9, 2024 I'm going to get my first snagless sally wet this weekend. Looking forward to it! 1 Quote
RB 77 Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 When I was a youngster, it was one of only two lures I used, the other being a plastic worm. Mepps Aglia was my favorite. I would throw the spinner first and stay with it if it was being hit. If not, switched to the trusty old plastic worm. 1 Quote
