BFS line & visibility?

I picked up some sufix 832 in 8lb (3lb equiv) and sufix elite hi viz in 6lb. The 832 is obviously way thinner but which is less “visible”? I’ve seen the back and forth in articles and I’m curious your take before I spool up.

The line being viewed in front of a similar color background.  The line I'm fishing deep inside the weeds I want dark,  in open water being viewed from below I prefer a white line that blends into the sky color.

I’m more so wondering if the thinner braid (half the thickness of the mono) makes it a better contender.

Thinner line isn't less visible....it's less noticeable.

 

There's a distinct and important difference there.

 

To be less visible, the line has to be more transparent or camouflaged.

 

I personally like using speckled mono in super finesse situations.  Covers both bases.  I usually choose a clear brown base with green specks due to the color of water I usually fish in.

I only use high vis line, 3-8 lb test, fishing mostly for spotted bass in a very clear highland lake. Also use it at the coast and in the TN river. Catch a lot of fish. If fish are turned off from visible lines, why do they hit an Alabama rig with a bunch of shiny wires?  To each his own.

Fins 10 lb Spin5 braid is .004D or 25% smaller the Suffix 832 8 lb. Suffix braid is one of the largest diameter super braid per lb test on the market.

Why use bright color leader?

Bass are not line shy it’s a non issue, trout are extremely line shy fish.
