I heard on the radio that the Lions are down to third and in some cases fourth string players on defense. They are signing players from other teams practice squads.

 

They’re going to have to win 40 point shoot outs with such a decimated defense. Can be done, but given the rash of injuries there, I think the Eagles and/or Vikings will overtake them.

The Seahawks have no hope of ever improving as long as Geno is on the roster. Plus they must completely overhaul everything that has anything to do with the O-Line. Throw everything out - cleanse house - and start new. Glass everything. It's the only way.

@TnRiver46 Good lord I don’t know if Brian Callahan or the offensive coordinator made the choice to score the touchdown instead of eating up the clock in regulation time but either way an extremely exciting ending which I personally enjoyed.

And yet, they’re just 8-8 needing help to make the playoffs. Also blew a 7 point lead with 8 seconds remaining to the very team they need to overtake to qualify for the post season.

 

Denver plays the Chiefs at home next week. The Broncos have everything to play for and the Chiefs have nothing to play for. Say goodbye bungals.

 

That week 1 loss at home to the horrific Patriots is looking pretty big right now…

Oh I know you’re a Bengals fan which is why I tagged you in my comment, I wanted and still do want your input as to why they felt it was better to have Burrow score instead of killing the clock and winning with a field goal which I know is NOT a guarantee but worse case scenario they would have ended in a tie which they did anyway in regulation. Please keep in mind I’m a fan of the most incompetent team currently in the NFL.

Oh ok. The Brian Callahan part made me think you were talking titans. 
 

The bengals are terrible at field goals would be my guess as to why they didn’t try to win with FG. In fact they did try in OT also and doinked, on 3rd down nonetheless

Honestly the Vikings defense has played pretty well.

 

Three trips inside the 10 for a total of 6 points aint cutting it tho

Whew, I didn’t expect things to fall apart like that for the Vikings. Could you imagine what the Lions would be like with a healthy D? 
 

I am glad the Lions pulled away because that was a blown safety call early in the game.

I don't know how to act after the outcome of last nights' game. To hold the Vikings to NO td's with our beat - up defense is nothing less than (dang near) impossible. I feel like Wiley E. Coyote on earthquake pills....
