detroit1 Posted February 10 Posted February 10 The Eagles d line made Mahomes look average. Nice. 1 Quote

Super User flyfisher Posted February 11 Super User Posted February 11 KC didn't choke they just didn't play a team as well rounded as the Eagles. No QB who has ever oplayed will do well when the D line is getting pressure without blitzing. Brady was the same way, you punch them in the mouth and they don't know what to do. 1 Quote

The Raiders are interested in Sam Darnold and Devante Adams might go to Minnesota which he and Rogers seem to be attached at the hip. @gim have you heard any of this? Quote
Texas Flood Posted February 11 Posted February 11 If MN doesnt want to keep Darnold, I would be hard pressed to believe they would want Rodgers. JJ McCarthy has to get the nod at least to start the new season. Quote
Super User gim Posted February 11 Author Super User Posted February 11 I listen to local sports talk radio here nearly every day. A-Rodg is not coming here. I'll dispel that rumor right now lol They want to move on to McCarthy, but there is a bunch of unknowns with him. 1) never played a single regular season snap, and 2) health. He's had 2 knee surgeries in the past 6 months. Darnold put up some eye-popping numbers this past season, but he was in a pretty good situation too. He has coach of the year guiding him and some good offensive players around him. He will not get that type of situation if he goes to a team that is in dire need of a quality QB. They will either keep Darnold for another year, and see where that goes. Or they might honestly keep Daniel Jones and work McCarthy into the lineup at some point, and let Darnold go. I am highly skeptical that McCarthy will be starting in week 1. Rookie QBs rarely do well when you toss them right into the fire. Better to ease him into that role over time. 1 Quote

Not saying itll be like this year in and year out obviously, just that it was a bigger example of what can happen. Quote
