detroit1 Posted December 7, 2024 Posted December 7, 2024 1981 was my first year of season tickets, $125 for the season (1 seat). 35 seasons later (2015) it was $780 per seat and i had 2, and it was my last year. I have no clue what those cost now. Quote
Super User Darren. Posted December 9, 2024 Super User Posted December 9, 2024 Well that game sucked. McDermott and the Zone D when the Bills should have been playing man. But with injuries and trying to cover the great Nacua and Cupp, ugh. Refs sure missed a huge call at the end that would have forced a 4th down (false start miss that was so obvious Stevie Wonder would have seen it). Next week red hot Detroit and the worst turf in the NFL. Stand by, I'm hearing the Refs have already made sure Patrick gets a W tonight. I mean look, he's got Apple Intelligence and the refs in his pocket. I'll see myself out. Vent over. 1 Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted December 9, 2024 BassResource.com Administrator Posted December 9, 2024 Don't look now...but the Seahawks won again. They went from 4-5 to 8-5, winning 4 straight after the break. 2 Quote
Super User gim Posted December 9, 2024 Author Super User Posted December 9, 2024 The Rams could be a dangerous opponent to a higher seed if they can sneak in. Wouldn’t want to play them if they are healthy. Right now they are one game back of the Commanders for the last NFC playoff spot. Quote
Global Moderator Mike L Posted December 9, 2024 Global Moderator Posted December 9, 2024 Well, so much for having 2 promotions in 18 days. With a first half performance like that he won’t be getting a third any time soon. Mike 1 1 Quote

If you’d like to see several false starts flagged, tune into a TN college game, we are usually good for at least a half dozen per game. The defense has learned to shift just before the snap and now it’s like a block/charge in hoops, judgement call on who drew who offsides 1 Quote
Global Moderator 12poundbass Posted December 15, 2024 Global Moderator Posted December 15, 2024 Big game today! Bills/Lions Two great QBs and two beat up defenses. Should be a shootout. I have to give the nod to my Bills. Go Bills! 4 1 Quote
Super User Jigfishn10 Posted December 15, 2024 Super User Posted December 15, 2024 I see you're routing for the Bills, I was going to mention, either way you win...I figured you cut your Bills and Lions footy pajamas in half and had your wife sew them togethers 1 1 Quote

The Lions have to lose a game somewhere before week 18 when they play the Vikings if the purple are going to catch them for the north. Today represents that best chance. The battle for Pennsylvania also looks good on paper. I think Bills/Lions would be an awesome Super Bowl. Quote

BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted December 15, 2024 BassResource.com Administrator Posted December 15, 2024 Ok, it's SNF at Seattle. If you like drinking games, take a shot every time the broadcast plays a grunge song going into the break. You'll be drunk before halftime. LOL! Besides grunge, the Seattle area has produced other famous musicians such as Heart, Jimi Hedrix, Dave Matthews Band, Sir Mix-A-Lot, Macklemore, Sleater-Kinney, Queensryche, Quincy Jones, and yes...even Bing Crosby. But NOOOO! They gotta play grunge! LOL! 3 Quote
Global Moderator 12poundbass Posted December 16, 2024 Global Moderator Posted December 16, 2024 Great game as I figured it would be. Hopefully we’ll see these two play in the Super Bowl. Go Bills! 1 Quote

Super User Jig Man Posted December 16, 2024 Super User Posted December 16, 2024 That was the best game I’ve seen all season. Quote
Super User gim Posted December 16, 2024 Author Super User Posted December 16, 2024 I can’t say I like the new interactive kickoff or onside kick rules implemented this season. Nearly every kickoff ends up in the end zone. The “surprise” onside kick is out the window now too. They’ve stacked the odds against recovering one, and even that was low before this. Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted December 16, 2024 BassResource.com Administrator Posted December 16, 2024 Well this game was over before the end of the first quarter. The Hawks are pathetic. Just when you think they were getting better, they revert to their old ways. Geno's been intercepted EVERY game this season (leads the NFL), and he's already been intercepted once, and it isn't even halftime yet. Let's see how many more he gets. Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted December 16, 2024 BassResource.com Administrator Posted December 16, 2024 Well Geno got knocked out of the game, but Sam stepped in to take care of that interception. It takes teamwork to loose that bad. LOL 1 Quote
Super User gim Posted December 16, 2024 Author Super User Posted December 16, 2024 Sorry @Glenn, but I think the Rams are the better team in that division and will win it to earn the 3 seed in the NFC. Most likely hosting the Packers in the wild card round. Quote
Super User Choporoz Posted December 16, 2024 Super User Posted December 16, 2024 Packers are in a weird spot. Need one win against Saints, Vikes or Bears. Probably won't be any better if they win all 3. Strange to be shooting for a 5 seed with some incentive to bench starters for last 2 games. Quote
Eric 26 Posted December 17, 2024 Posted December 17, 2024 As a lifelong Chicago Bears fan at 55 years of age I can honestly say I am in absolute meltdown mode currently watching this game which I just turned off…..I’m at a complete loss as to HOW this team can keep 🤬this team up from top to bottom and I’m seriously ready to call it quits 😡 1 Quote
Super User gim Posted December 17, 2024 Author Super User Posted December 17, 2024 @Eric 26 The score is 13-0. The Bears get to the 1, score a TD but have it nullified via penalty because someone failed to report. Then they get a holding penalty. Then 3 straight incomplete passes and settle for a FG. Then the Vikings March 70 yards down the field for a TD. That’s a 10 point swing. This is why Chicago has lost 7 straight and fired their coach. Back in October when they were 4-2, I predicted they would finish 4-13. Getting closer… Quote
Global Moderator Mike L Posted December 17, 2024 Global Moderator Posted December 17, 2024 That’s been the story all year We could have had 4 games this year if we had better coaching and spent money on the line. Keep the faith Brothers Mike 1 Quote
