That last passage in the book is the last 20+ months of my life.    Incredibly spot on.

It's hard to describe the level of obsession.    If I'm honest I've neglected many other parts of my life.   On the other hand, I've learned more in 20 months than my previous 20 years of Bass fishing.   Obsession is a two way street, it creates greatness, but at the cost of sanity and a person as a whole.

It's really kind of embarrassing which is why it was such a relief to hear the author's passage, and Deep's reply.

I have no plans of seeking treatment, rather doubling down.....I moving to Texas 🤣

@TnRiver46 & @BigSkyBasser, Yep, that's bigger bass than I'm catching in Nebraska by FAR!

@TnRiver46: You're being humble. I remember your string of 20" and 21" smallies. I also remember that gorgeous wiper.

I wish I was, I took @BigSkyBasser fishing in Knoxville and he caught a few big striper 😂 . A 20-21” SMB here weighs 3-4 lbs and where he’s at in the northwest they routinely get 5-7 lb SMB

"routinely 5-7 lb smallmouth" would give AJ a run for the money!  That's 25-35 lb bags.
