New user. Old reader. New fisherman, old fisherman. Finally hoping for some time to return to fishing, after a very long hiatus! Retired and my wife is retiring soon. Kids almost grown. Perused the forums for years, decided to become a member today. I still have too many interests and many "duties", so we'll see how my "return to fishing" goes. Grew up bank/wade fishing small creeks and ponds in Ohio. Now trying to learn how to fish from where I am now -- not many ponds and the small streams are harder to negotiate. Updating my gear within the boundaries of my means. I will stop here! Bye

That's how it was for me in Illinois, but I adapted quickly to the Ozarks.
