On my way to work a couple days ago I came upon a guy who just hit a deer. As I’m slowly driving by I look over at the deer on the side of the road and noticed it had antlers! I’ve never seen a buck with antlers this late.

Anyone seen deer with antlers this time of the year?

My buddy had a trail cam photo with 5-6 antlered bucks a week or two ago. Silly things didn’t read the manual

Never seen one with antlers this late.  They usually fall off in Jan or Feb.  Maybe the warm winter is allowing them to stay attached longer.

I’ve got buddies saying they are still seeing them antlered. A few have found sheds. A buddy asked me if I seen any bucks while coyote hunting since I see tons of deer while out at night calling coyotes. I said I seen some that might have been since big bodied and alone vs the herds of smaller ones with a few larger ones in it usually all does. He said he’s got em on cam still holding I haven’t noticed holding still with the thermal though.

Saw a few antlered here in eastern NC March 13th. Was on the road at 4am and deer were everywhere. I was a little delirious but was wondering if they grew horns multiple times a year. Then later that day I was making fun of myself after I had a little sleep.
