Best Japanese Tackle Shop

Looking for recommendations for the most reliable / reputable Japanese tackle shops. Thanks in advance for any recommendations.

I've only used Digitaka but have had nothing but great experiences ordering from them. Always at my door within a matter of days once shipped.

Another vote for Digitaka. I have also had really good success with Japan Tackle and JDM Tackle Heaven. It is amazing how fast the items show up at your doorstep! I have never had a single problem with any of these.

Used Digitaka and Japan Lure Shop multiple times with zero issues. JLS usually even throws in a nice freebie with your order.

So…read a few weeks back that the 110s and such were usually cheaper at JDM shops, but you have to pay shipping.

 

1) most of the shops I found were out of stock. Is this normal and I need to keep checking back?

2) does anyone have a “break even” point for when the price + shipping is better than USD? For example, it would benefit me if I bought 10 at a time?

One more vote for Digitaka, may not be the cheapest but they are safe and fast.

I like JLS best, but order from JLS and Digitaka.  More guys are shopping these JDM sites nowdays, so timing is everything.  JLS will get a pile of 110's and 110 jrs...you just need to check almost daily for the shipment to get in.

I use Japan Lure Shop the most but have never had a problem with any of them.  They have very high standards for customer service in Japan.  They take it personal if you're unhappy.

There's a place in Canada that has a nice little selection.

Digitaka man myself, however I'd have no problems going with JLS given how many stellar reviews I hear about them as well.

 

The most recent one I've found is jpnfishingtackle.com    Love the website, you learn as much as you shop on there.   Will be giving them business at some point.

I second the motion to all the above. Ichiban Tackle has a limited selection of fishing stuff, mostly lures and terminal tackle, but they have been the fastest getting an order to 

Alabama from Japan for me. It gets here faster than hook up and TW much of the time.

Oh that's a new one. And pretty easy to navigate and find stuff too.
