@Glenn or maybe @islandbass could help you out regarding the when and where for bass fishing in your neck of the woods @Philzghost, if I was up around the Olympic Peninsula at present it’d be difficult to pry me away from the Quinault River steelhead.

By the way @Philzghost, welcome to Bass Resource and the Forums!

Sequalitchew lake is decent bass fishing as I recall near Olympia WA. Glenn is your best Resource Owner If BR site.

Welcome BR.

Black lake, Lake St. Clair, Pattison, and Offut lakes are all good.  With the weather forecast in mind, I'd start this weekend if I were you!  Should be nice out.

I’m not too far from you just a bit north of you close to Tacoma. The farthest south I’ve ever fish for bass is south king county. There is always that hallowed silver lake in the way to mt st Helen’s and there is this lake I always see on the way to Portland not far from Lamiglas and would like to try.

Unfortunately, I am a shore angler and fishing from the shore for bass can be tough, but not impossible. Sorry I’m not much help for winter time bass fishing but I sure am hoping to try one final time before spring for some smallies in lake Union or lake Wa and before our licenses expire on 3/31 lol.

we could probably continue this through the pm.

lastly, welcome!

@J._Bricker: thanks for the heads up. 😎

This weekend should be good.  From my last few years here, you can fish them all year, especially from a boat.

Contact the guys in the Capitol City Bass Club.  It’s a good club and a great way to get on the water and get information.  I would throw in American Lake out of Steelicom if you have a boat or Kayak.  The hallowed Silver Lake isn’t so hallowed right now.  Riffe and Swafford Pond near Morton are worth looking at.👍👍
