The BPS egg is good. Honestly you can find the double stamp Baby 1 minus on the auction sites fairly cheap.

I have used the egg, and the Baby 1 - is still my go to over grass beds. I have over 20 of them. love em. sometimes better than a spinnerbait under the right conditions.

eBay is yor best bet.

I'm still looking.  Most of my crankbaits are baby 1 minus.  Those things are killers.

Strike King has a 1.5 shallow crank I'm looking at.  I have a few of the BPS Eggs, but I haven't seen those on the BPS website for a few months now.

They are discontinued.

I was at Cabelas last December and there were several in a discount bin. The discount price was $2.49 (half price). There were 4 in there, I snagged all four. I asked a fishing associate why they were there and he said they are not making them anymore.

It’s a shame, I like the lure and even at $4.99 they were a bargain. I have about 7 or 8 of them still in the original package now.

The kvd 1.5 shallows are pretty solid.  Ima bill lowen SB might be my favorite.  Components are great, computer chip lip and they take a beating.  The ima runs shallower about 1' on #12FC and deflects better at lower speeds compared to the kvd.  I do like that the KVD is silent and that makes a huge difference where I fish.

It's not as small but the Strike King Hybrid Hunter Jr. Shallow has been my go to super shallow crankbait lately.  Especially over grass as it comes through it very well.
