hi_steel_basser Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 You are'nt too well organized, you just ain't lazy enough. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted December 15, 2006 Super User Posted December 15, 2006 Be careful, this can lead to "other projects." I have a pretty big house, but MY room is only 10 X 6 or so. My boss says, "Why don't you help me with the "other" closets? Good job. Well organized. Quote
Brad_Coovert Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 You call that tackle.. Good lookin' boxes dude! Brad Quote
Super User Catt Posted December 15, 2006 Super User Posted December 15, 2006 i can find any bait in my tackle boxes at night using only the moon light; so to answer your question you aint to organized. Quote
justfishin Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 I guess you are the Felix Unger of fishing and I am the Oscar. I hang my head in shame. I am organized but, I don't have labels man. Quote
Super User Munkin Posted December 16, 2006 Super User Posted December 16, 2006 That is what my stuff looks like in the beginning of the year. About half way through the summer it is a complete mess! Allen Quote
Guest avid Posted December 16, 2006 Posted December 16, 2006 I guess you are the Felix Unger of fishing and I am the Oscar I felt the same way after seeing Rolo's tackle room. All his rods are in wooden racks, his baits are sorted by type, color and clearly labeled. all my stuff is in a heap in the garage. My organization consists of I use a tackle box mostly for hard baits and terminal tackle. I use a soft bag for soft baits. I have bags of soft plastics and old BPS shipping boxes stashed all over my garage. Sometimes I even look to see what's inside. Now of course It wasn't always this bad. My being injured kept me off the water for months. this corresponded with a buying binge, so the need to organize hasn't really come up yet. But I'm gradually getting back in the game. It's time to sort through the stuff and make order out of chaos. Quote
The_Natural Posted December 16, 2006 Posted December 16, 2006 Trust me...you are not too organized. I actually reorganize my stuff all the time just because I enjoy doing it; I'm always looking for a better system for sorting my tackle. I keep all my stuff in one of our extra bedrooms...on display. If you make it neat enough, your wife won't even care if it is out! I'll take some pics tomorrow...I'm tired. Quote

Super User MALTESE FALCON Posted December 17, 2006 Super User Posted December 17, 2006 YOU CAN NEVER BE TOO ORGANIZED. MY TACKLE LOOKS LIKE THAT ALSO, EXCEPT I DON'T HAVE THE LABELS. WHEN I START THE DAY FISHING MY TACKLE LOOKS LIKE THAT. AFTER A COUPLE HOURS IT'S PRETTY MESSY. WHEN I GET TO MY SEAWALL, I DON'T GET OUT OF THE BOAT UNTIL EVERYTHING IS IN IT'S PLACE. FALCON Quote
justfishin Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 Have you noticed a trend here? Everyone has a "room" dedicated to all their fishing equipment. I have a " computer room ", at least that was what I call it since I redid it last year. It consist of a small PC desk with my laptop and then the rest of the room is rod racks, trophys, fishing pictures, tackle bags and everything else you can think off. The closet is a double and it is from floor to ceiling full of fishing stuff. Sometimes I ask myself,---self?---do you really need all of this crap?,LOL. Quote
