hotwheels Posted December 16, 2006 Posted December 16, 2006 As far as castability, abrasion resistance, and strength, which do you prefer? Quote
Super User cart7t Posted December 16, 2006 Super User Posted December 16, 2006 I've never used cabela's pro line, only BPS excell. I've had mixed results. The spool I have left I use for backing. Quote
vtbassin Posted December 16, 2006 Posted December 16, 2006 I checked Proline on your poll but I really use the Proline co-polymer. ;D I have been using this line for several years and it works great for me. I like the fact that I do not seem to need to change the co-poly as often as mono. 15 lb for spinnerbaits & rat-l-traps and 8 lb or 6 lb on my spinning rods ;D A 1/4 pound spool for less than $10 seems like a good deal to me. ;D Quote
Pa Angler Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 I know that this one is not on the poll but McCoy's Co-Poly is a great line to try, low stretch and low memory. I don't use any of the two you mentioned. Chow Quote
