Shimano Vanquish 23 C2500sxg

Hello anyone got  review on the Shimano Vanquish 23 model in the C2500sxg? I believe these are the same size like the other shimano 2000. What rod size and braided line test would be best with these reels?

Vanquish is the best finesse spinning reel ever.  Pick a rod that will take advantage of the feel.  But the right rod is going to depend more on your use.

I use 200 and 2500 size for every kind of fishing, So you can go 8lb PE with 4lb Fluoro, How is the water? what lure/techniques you going to use it for? for me ill go 8lb to 15lb braid at the max and I have 2lb to 8lb flour for leader depending on the fish and and lure and technique. so you can do 10lbPE with 5lb/6lb Fluoro for all around combo with a medium power fast action rod.

Thanks for the help guys the answer that I was looking for. I was either going to pair this reel up to my nrx+ 843s sjr or the daiwa steez the one. I will go ahead and get 10 pound braid and 6 pounds flouro for leader. I was planning to throw light t-rig, senkos, small Ned and drop shot on this set up.

I have the C2500S and it is the best spinning reel I ever used. 

 

It is the same size as the 2000S but with a larger spool. I use mine on the NRX+ 821S NRR. Just a totally fun set up.
