I've been using one for the past two weeks. Tested at its weight limit bombing 1 oz baits. No problem. Pulled in several big Pickeral so far. Slightly slower than an OMEN Black II which is a crisp MHF, so also using baits with heavier trebles will be fine. I like it. Might get another. Way better than its asking price. You'll probably like it.

Thank you for the reply. I'm not really that picky when it comes to fishing rods. As long as it's the right action and tip and it is well made and I feel I got my $$$'s worth I am happy. I have very highly reviewed baitcasting and spinning rods that originally cost $200 I bought on sale for $120-$150 and $150 dollar rods I bought on sale for well under $100 that IMO the cheaper rod felt more sensitive to me when fishing soft plastics.

I bought several when 13 had a closeout sale and they were dirt cheap.

They are solid budget rods, I use for moving baits etc..

Pretty light for the price too which has become my #1 priority with rods.

13 Fishing was taboo on this site for years until Rapala-VMC bought them a year ago.

The original rods are being closed out everywhere don’t believe much experience with new models yet.

I have zero experience with 13 Fishing and get nervous posting anything 13 🤬

Maybe here, but not everywhere and not for everyone. Going back to 2017, 12 of my 30+ rods are 13. Zero issues. Zero warranty claims, and I fish completely choked out swamps.

13 Fishing was previously blocked due to deceitful marketing tactics (nearly all the positive comments and reviews posted here were fake or contrived). The marketing director responsible for orchestrating all of it no longer works there, so the ban was  lifted.

That said, we still get the occasional over-zealous pro-staffer gushing the wonders of 13 products, but to be fair, it happens with many brands that have "pro staff" these days.

Pretty much my findings.   I also believe the labeled "fast" action to be more of a "mod fast" action, making it a solid choice for anything, but especially moving baits.   The handle is on the shorter side of what I prefer, but all in all a good budget rod.

Thanks a great deal to all who replied. I need at several more baitcasting setups for my sons to use and these rods seamed to be a good choice at thier current price, and a better rod for this price range than what's available OTC at my local Cabela's.

Again thanks for all the replies.
