I would choose:

Rapala
Spro
6th Sense
Berkley
Azuma
Duel Hardcore MR, 3+, & 4
Megabass Deep

i think with Rapala and Berkley you are covered pretty much in ever category from shallow square bills to flat sides to deep divers.
Spro has flatsides that dive up to 20+ ft which makes them somewhat unique
6th sense is getting to where Rapala and Berkley are with multiple categories covered from shallow square bills to deep divers to flatsides. Only issue i have with them is i dont like how big their deeper diving baits get.
I love azuma colors and the Boss Square Bills, Boss 6 , Boss 8, and Boss 10 are great baits. I have caught a lot of fish on Boss 10. Only issue i have with them is their deep divers get rather large once you get above a Boss 10.
i dont know why but i love these Duel Hardcore MR, 3+, and 4+.  I can throw them a mile.
Lastly id choose the megabass deep series. Tighter wobble in colder water and great colors

I’ll take you to two because that’s what I have and fish in my box- rapala and strike king. From the OG tiny 4 up to a dt-20 you’ve got the entire water column covered with wide and skinny. Throw in some SK red eye shads and the assorted ‘other’ that you prefer and you’re not missing anything.

Yeah you can have pretty much everything covered with Rapala and Berkley and Rapala and Strike King. Im doing this more because im trying to thin the herd plus get input from others.

If your goal is to take what you have and thin it down, then the question is what do you use every trip/month/year?  Keep what you use, drop what you don’t. If you already own them though, it doesn’t matter what brand they are.  Pick the ones you use and like and expand them. Take the ones you never use and sell them.

If I had to pick 7 these are the Top 7 companies I go with.

6th Sense, Jackall, Duel, assuming jerkbaits aren't included. Mostly for shallow, mid, and deep respectively.

Adding jerkbaits, LC and Shimano.

these are my top 6 and what i will reach for and use 90 % of the time

spro

strike king KVD’s

rapala usually. early season

Norman

lucky craft

6th sense

i also own mega bass, berkley, and others.  however, those 6 are what i gravitate to using and buying.  the DD 22’s are slowly negating a reason to buy the deep diving mega bass.  be got twins in the way and can’t be buying $20-$25 cranks.

I could get my hard bait stuff done with just strike King but I also love 6th Sense, Berkley and Rapala.

I've been cranking for a long time. I'm not brand loyal. Use a lot of Berkelys, Rapalas, Rebels, Bombers, Storm, Normans... A lot of older baits get thrown.

The majority of what are in my crank boxes are:

Rapala

Strike King

Berkley

Spro

Bomber

Bandit

A few other random items, but I mainly use the top 4
