Brett's_daddy Posted February 7, 2024 Posted February 7, 2024 I love these jigs but with the untimely passing of their creator Bo not sure if the company is still in business. I got a Lureparts jig making kit for Christmas this year and I'd like to get some of their jig head to try my hand at making some jigs but don't know where to get them anymore or even if they are still available? I saw a guy selling some of their jigs on eBay and messaged him but he doesn't have just the jig heads. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Quote
RipzLipz Posted February 7, 2024 Posted February 7, 2024 @Brett's_daddy Probably not going to see them again. Regional & small lure companies seldom survive when the owner passes unless there is a protege involved or the surviving family members sell the rights or business to someone else. Do a Google search for the brand - some info to be gleaned from other sources. No social media presence in a few years either. Quote
Super User Jig Man Posted February 8, 2024 Super User Posted February 8, 2024 Someone supposedly bought the stuff from Bo’s but it hasn’t returned to the market yet. Quote
dave Posted February 8, 2024 Posted February 8, 2024 I used to have a lot of them. I think Tom knows Bo. I still have a few, 1/16 ounce PBJ Quote
txchaser Posted February 8, 2024 Posted February 8, 2024 I sent him a letter about a year ago and didn't hear back. Band of anglers/patrick sebile is making a twin brushguard jig that has some similarities, although it uses fiber for the guards. Pretty sure I recall him talking about the head rotating up in this vid. Quote
