I already got the conquest 30.   Going to get the metanium dc and the scorpion 200md

Pairing it to a 6'10 poison ultma

May be out of topic, but what is the main advantage of the Conquest over the Aldebaran? I just can't get my head around that reel body!

I am just wanting to grab a seemingly simple older model Shimano Twinpower from Japan.  I now feel very underpowered!!   Congrats on those reels boys!   Those will be awesome to fish with!!

I'll be buying a Certate or 2.  With the c2500's in @ 175g and the c3000 @ 205g they have lost weight 👏

My new reel is a '20, so it probably doesn't count.

Just the round reel.  Might be a little more robust

Looks cool and feels nice.  Think of it as a luxury good and not a tool.  Imagine grabbing the solid brass handle of an old door on old mansion and feeling the heft of the solid hard wood door swing fluidly on hinges.  Compared this to a hollow cardboard door and flimsy big box store knob.  They both do the same thing and one is certainly lighter but one is definitely nicer and more satisfying to use.

I am a year back, looking at a 23 Vanquish.

Just took delivery of the '23 3000MGH. Crazy the way it lays down line on the spool and crazy light weight. Mounted on a P5 Windbuster - cant wait to use it in anger 🤬

Not sure if there's an "advantage". just preference based on application. Conquest shallow is only offered in 1 gear ratio for example.  I currently own Calcutta 200d's and 400d's and I really like the compact round reel form factor.  YMMV.

Just received two Metaniums. Both are HG 2023 deep spool edition. I wanted the brass gear and the 2023's were more plentiful that the 2020.

I got a killer deal on two Daiwa Steez A, older style. That's it I'm done now.

They are pretty sick reels. Never tried one before, now I think they are my favorites.
