Anyone own this rod in the B lineup? Can’t seem to find any reviews online.

It’s listed as a moderate action. Is it soft like for reaction baits or stiff enough to also throw small jigs and worms with too?

I misread your post.

7'2 comes in 3 versions of medium; MH, MH glass, and ML.  Which power are you referring to?

There is a new model that is a 7’2 medium. Non glass.

Thanks, now I see it on Shimano's site, same specs as the 6'10M.  I fish jigs on that one, though usually a medium wire hook.  I think the extra length would make it a little better even.  Good luck!

I have the expride 7'2" Medium/F.  Bought it in late summer early fall (along with a 7'2" MH/F) and fished with it a handful of times.  I use it for weightless senkos, lighter to medium texas rings (mostly worms) & 3/8-1/2oz spinnerbaits.  So far I really like it.  It should get a good workout this year.

Just like the rest of the expride lineup, it’s a half step + in its ratings. More like a medium + and a moderate fast. It really makes it the perfect versatile rod. Can throw treble hooks in a pinch and enough power for single hook lighter jigs/t-rigs.
