I'm pretty sure the classic sale is always in March? Tried looking for the ads with no luck. Anybody have them or know when they'll come out?

Wanting to get a garmin livescope set up and wondering if it would be worth waiting until the classic if they had a deal on them.

Thanks!

If it follows the previous years pattern the flyer arrives the second week of February.

Last year they had some good deals on previous year model fish finders and I think free install (labor only).

In the 2024 BPS master catalog it says that the 2024 Spring Fishing Classic will be held March 7th through March 27th. Don't know about when the fliers will go out, but @FishTank is correct, it's usually around mid February.

That sounds right to me based on previous years.  I usually do most of my re-spooling and re-stocking during a trip to Cabela's in mid March.

A flyer usually leaks around this time of year but like they said the official ad comes out around two weeks before the sale begins

I was at my local BP  in Maryland checking to see what if any spinning reels would be on sale and the guy behind the counter gave me a flier. Sale starts March 7th and runs through the 27th.

@Fordsnfishin , there are 3 on sale

Livescope LVS32 $999.97

Livescope+ LVS34 $ 1,699.99

Livescope plus LVS34 Transducer only 1,199.99

That's not a sale,... That's regular price.

I hate it when companies list items in their flyers at regular price to make people think they are getting a special deal!

That’s typical with them, especially on name brand items (like we don’t know what they cost).

I've noticed Academy has started doing that on their site. "Hot Deal" used to mean a discounted price, and they would show both the regular price and the sale price. They still do that, but they also mix other items in with it that don't look discounted at all.

Yep... There's another company that lists items as sale or markdown because they knocked $.05 off the price just to get you to look at it.

I'm sorry, but I don't consider saving a nickel to be a sake

25% off sufix 832 will definitely be purchased.  Maybe some strike king rage plastics and some yamamotos.  I've done the rod/reel trade in before and its not a bad way to save money on an upgrade.

I've got 240 bucks in gift cards to use there...

I still haven't received my flyer yet.

But something I've noticed in the last few years is a company will take an item that normally costs, let's say $800.  Then they'll list it as being on sale for $800.  Then the sale ends, and it goes up to $900.  It's like a sneaky way of introducing inflation.

The thing that I saw which is a good deal was 50% off PLine Tactical fluorocarbon line.

I saw that and it made me curious. I've never tried the Pline Tactical...

How is it? Worth trying?

I see that at grocery stores all the time. It's like standard operating procedure for raising prices with them and it has been going on forever.

When I first started I bought tons because of Bryan thrift (he loves it) I broke off so many times and was not a fan.

We were at the classic sale at the new Cincinnati store today. They were pretty sold out on the Pline Tactical and really only had 15lb and 20lb left.

I opened a box and felt the tag end. It seemed a little stiff compared to Invisix. Decided to pass and bought some other line instead that was alao on sale. (Invisix and Suffix 832)
