I have been a "beat-the-bank" fisherman all my life. With the new boat and electronics, I'm "seeing" deep structure that is just taunting me.

The goal for this year is to catch fish in deeper water, and off-shore. I also want to target walleye and crappie more.

It’s difficult to make yourself do that when you’ve primarily been a shallow bank cover angler in the past. I know from personal experience.

I'm going to work on Jigs, Chatterbaits, Hellgrammites, and Brush Hogs. I've never had much success on the first two, and just am getting into the latter. I got a good feeling about them all though.

I love square bills and was looking for one that runs deeper than the norm.  The LuckyStrike Series 2 The Freak looked like the ticket so I got a couple and plan to give them a run during the pre spawn and again post spawn

Thought of another one.  The Raid G Dash. I had a return to Amazon and used the gift card to purchase one from Amazon Japan.  I haven't received it yet. It will hopefully arrive in a week.

Looking to expand from shallow to mid depth cranking. Already loaded up on some dt6 and dt8’s, would like to find another brand that’s a good compliment for the dt series.

Strike King 3XD is always on my deck.
