Im looking for a reasonably priced(in the 150 range) finesse real something as small and palmable as the daiwa sol or the curado 101. Anyone got any ideas or suggestions as to what brands or models i should be looking into?

The Sol is a better finesse reel than the Curado, has better braking system ( MagForce V ) than the Curado; but either are in the $200 range.

Papa 's suggestions are also great; I own both, Type F and Scorpion 1000, from those two I take Type F over Scorpion, casts a little better and with a little bit more control than the Scorpion but still, only because it weights less than the Scorpion.

Add this one to the list of suggestions:

$175 and is also a fantastic reel, BaitMonkey brought me another one about a week ago.  :)

I bought one of the alpha type f's this summer.  Great little reel and it is so light and smooth.  I'm thinking about adding another to my lineup.  The sol is the American version of the alpha I believe, plus it has the clicking drag adjustment.  I might go that route instead.

what do you guys think about the Abu Garcia REVO SX and the Pflueger Supreme Baitcasting Reel ?

Compared to those ? hmmmmm, I don 't think so.

Sodak, the Sol does NOT have a clicking drag adjustment.

Chronarch 50mg is my finesse reel. You can find em pretty cheap on ebay. Solid reel and handles light baits very well. Get a used one and send it to ReelMech and it becomes like new. JMHO
