Guest avid Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 Anybody using them at night? seems like a natural? Quote
Super User fourbizz Posted August 23, 2007 Super User Posted August 23, 2007 I watched my buddy whack an 11lb 8oz'r on it last september Quote
SuthernProg Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 I used one a couple of weeks ago around 5 am, pre-light and caught a few decent bass. I use one with a blue and black skirt and add a Netbait baby paca craw to it. Prog Quote
ssaB_htuoM_egraL Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 I like to use them anytime, I know this may get some replies (good and bad) but this is my favorite bait next to Senko's. Good luck! Quote
Super User .dsaavedra. Posted August 26, 2007 Super User Posted August 26, 2007 ive got a black and blue one, and a red and white one. i havent tried either at night, but i think it would do well, since it gives off so much vibration. Quote
basspro48 Posted August 26, 2007 Posted August 26, 2007 I can't catch anything on em to save my life, at least around here. Every time we go down to Florida I tear em up on the chatterbait but they won't touch it in any of the rivers or lakes around me. But I am very interested in seeing how that "vibraspin" (I think thats what its called) from KaRu lures works at night, it looks like it gives off a lot of vibration. Quote

A senko and a chatterbait. Let me start off by saying. WOW!!! that being said," way to keep an open mind tacklebox." brent Great Sarcasm from a guy trying to sell lures. Quote
Davis Posted August 27, 2007 Posted August 27, 2007 I was thinking Brent was serious as well. Putting a senko on as a trailer? Sounds like it would work well IMO. I may just try that with some of my jigs and the one chatterbait that I own. Quote
ssaB_htuoM_egraL Posted August 27, 2007 Posted August 27, 2007 No sarcasm here. might outta just read posts sometimes for face value. thought the last was a compliment even.brent If this is true, I retract my statement made above. I just felt a hint of sarcasm based on the fact of Senko popularity and ease to fish. I go fishing to catch fish not to clean lures, so if it works I use it. Good luck to Bruce and his lures. Davis Posted August 27, 2007 Posted August 27, 2007 My dad will often tie on a 4" trick stick on about an 8" leader line, directly to the hook on a buzzbait, and gets the second reaction strike about a third of the time that the bass misses the topwater. i assume you could do the same on a chatterbait.makes it look like something is already chasing it. he uses a pearl silver one most of the time. i've never tried it, but he swears by it. brent Well I will have to give that a go seeing as you sent me some pearl sticks with my last order in my "freebie" bag. 8-) Thanks again!
