Raul, Do they make them compatible for an Scorpion 1000 ?. Where can I find them?

Thanks a lot.

Smoothies

Just look for CU100B washers, they are the same size for the Scorpion.

Yes, they are in my Pixy and my Sol reels.  They are the best IMO.  A Basser on another BB tuned both of those reels for me and installed the washers at the same time.  He does great work.

Raul,

Just got my new wholesale price list from smooth drag earlier this month. It only shows the Carbontex washer for the Calcutta's. The Xtreme Smoothies for only the Calcutta and Trinidad. The standard smoothies on the other hand for the Calcutta, Castaic, Calais, Chronarch, Citica, and Curado.

How did you get Carbontex washers for your Curado and Chronarch?

Tight Lines!!

Without looking at the stickers ( got the reels at home ) Curado 200 is '94 ( bought that one at Academy in July 1994 ), Chronarch SF must be somewhere around 2000 ( got that one at Academy in Jan 2001 so it can 't be 2001 ), Curado B38 is 2003 ( ? )-2004 ( got that one from BPS a couple of years ago in March ).

Check the Calcutta washers, Calcutta washers and Curado washers are the same size. For a Scorpion you need a Calcutta 200 kit.

The people at Smoothies are outstanding.  I called and gave them the dimensions of the drag washers for a reel that they hadn't listed on their web site.  They called me back the next day and told me they found two carbontex drag washers (from two different reel sets) that would fit my reel.  They are on the way to my house (along with a pound of Cal's grease).  Excellent people to deal with and I will be sure to give them future business.

Sorry if this sounds like a commercial, but excellent service deserves to be advertised.

If we 've got TDZilla in incubation I would suggest that since RM is going to have it in his shop a switch for some nice ceramic bearings ( at least those that support the spool ) would be a good adition to the baby.
