I still do like Glenn but I've upgraded my foot game.

Pencil through the spool, ends of pencil through the holes in the sides of Crocs and I push my feet together to pinch the spool and adjust tension. Line through the first 2 guides and lounge back and spool up.

Laugh all you want...but it works 😅

I use a Daiichi Seiko line winder, probably the best line spooler I've used.  It also lets you recycle line, pretty handy if you want to save braided lines.  My favorite feature is the tension knob, letting you spool line with up to 5kg of tension.  The price on it just went up.  I got mine last year for $40.

I always spool my line the old fashion way for spinning. Spool, reel installed on a rod (line through a few guides), a pencil, and my toes.

Is line twist on spinning reels only possible with mono or flouro? If I have braid with no memory does it not matter? I should have said this is for spinning reels with braid. One person suggested putting the spool on the ground and having the line come off counterclockwise, will that work? Then I read that can twist and you need to turn over the spool again. Maybe I should just take off the spool and use a setup like they have at the tackle shop, any middle of the roads ones ppl can recommend?

Line twist is inevitable w/ spinning, whether you loop line off a flat source spool face, or take line off the bottom of a source spool on an axle.    I prefer loading spinning line from the bottom of the source spool on an axle.

Initial line twist when loading a spinning reel occurs because the diameter of the source spool is different from the diameter of the receiving spool on the reel.

Line twist is more destructive (and expensive) with braid than with mono.

You solve line twist by always fishing spinning tackle with a swivel - a micro-swivel is plenty good for this.  You'll never think about line twist again.

I hope this thing is on.

My only swivel example happens to be on titanium-wire bite traces for toothy salt fish.

what about a way to remove the twist once the spinning reel is already spooled up? Say I spool it, then do something one time (twist doesnt come back) to remove all the twist, will this work, how to do it? Thanks guys

The most common method I have seen for removing line twist on the reel is to take your lure off and let the line out to drag behind you out on the water. That will let it untwist.

Then you can reel the line back in and the majority of the twist should be gone. Tie your lure back on and go fishing.
