Super User AlabamaSpothunter Posted January 20, 2024 Super User Posted January 20, 2024 Yeah Zaldain had the same deal as Milliken, but then had a rear transducer IIrc, and while he was at the wrap shop they looked at Fujita's rig which had 4 IIrc. I watch too many of these YT fishing videos lol, watched like 4-5 of these pro's walk through videos. To me one transducer seems fair, they already got 360. Quote

I'm watching all the guys that are heavy on vertical livescope start to fiddle with horizontal, add an extra transducer, etc. Imagine you are running down a 45 degree bank, boat sitting in 10fow, casting shallow. Unless they are dead still and in the dirt, you're going to be able to see whether there's a fish there or not. And if you are good or have the right color combo you'll still see a bounce from the fish vs the bottom. I have two that I rigged for spider rigging/drop shotting open water for crappie. My boat has side by side front chairs, so I wanted me and the wife to both have a screen/transducer. They are both on the same pole (usually at a 90* from each other). I turned one to perspective mode for casting the bank for bass and it does work well. Need to spend more time with it and focus on seeing fish to tell you how well it works though. You can see it behind me in this pic- 2 Quote
