Had season tickets from 1981 to 2015, and missed only 3 games in 35 years. First one was the playoff game against the Pack. Second one was when my dad passed, and the last when mrs. detroit's dad passed. The last 2 were pre-season games. After yesterday, i can no longer say i witnessed the only home playoff game win since the year i was born. (1957) I always joked about i would probabaly die the year they win it all again. I'm starting to get nervous.....😟

Congratulations to the Detroit Lions with their Wild Card victory over the Los Angeles Rams.

It was a close & exciting game ☆ Lions gritted their teeth & WON!

I'm so happy for all the fans who've waited for years to celebrate their team with cheers, not jeers.

I thought about you last night.
 It was a long time comin and well deserved. 
 

I just wish that “ team from Wisconsin” would have lost and I’d feel even better. 
Give the Bears another year of good drafting and we’ll be in a dog fight with you guys for years.

It was great to see the Lions win. Great to see new blood competing for a championship run.

 

Now to figure out which side of the fence @12poundbass is on: Bills? Lions? Hmmmm!

Was happy to see the Lions pull out a W. After watching them be the lovable losers on Thanksgiving every year of my life, I'm certainly pulling for them in the NFC. 

Would love for the Bills to face them in the super bowl!

@detroit1 the Lions always sucked growing up so I decided I wanted to find a good team to root for. Along came the Bills in the early 90’s, Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas, Andre Reed, Don Beebe, Bruce Smith. Four consecutive Super Bowl appearances (albeit losses) made an impression on this 7 year old kid. I’ve been a fan ever since and it seems that I’ve passed that on to my son.

Don’t get me wrong I root for the Lions and watch them almost every Sunday and I’d be ecstatic to see them make a deep run in the playoffs but…..

@detroit1 Although I’m a Bears fan through and through I can and do appreciate the way the Lions have turned things around. It’s my belief and I could be wrong but watching them on 🤔I’m having a senior moment here 😆the show “hard knocks” I feel Dan Campbell has a lot to do with it and my wife and I became huge fans of his. I’m rooting for them to make the NFC North proud going forward.

Yes, Dan has turned this team around in 3 years...something no one else could do in 60. Your Bears are on a good path, and Green Bay as well. The NFC North will be the strongest division next year. (maybe)

If you told me six months ago that two of the last eight teams playing would come from NFC North, I never would have believed you.  How crazy to contemplate a potential Lions - Packers conference championship
