I picked up two these on Amazon for $12 ($16 - 25% off). One is for small treble hooks and split rings.  Up to this point,  I didn't have a good way to store them. The other will be for some on the go BFS fishing.

They seem to made pretty well for what I want out of them and you can't beat the price.

What are you guys using for trebles and split rings?

I have a couple of those in my Amazon cart, what is the quality like in hand??   I am not sure they are that exact name brand, but they all probably come out of the same factory.  They look solid.

Not bad. My concern would be the springs to the buttons that pop the clear lids open.  I have only had them a week so we will see.

I liked them so well I bought one more in the next size up. I might downsize and use it for weights and hooks on my kayak instead of the much bigger Plano box I have.

I use a Plano 3650, with all small dividers inserted on left 2/3rds & no dividers on the right side so I can keep split ring pliers & extra boxes of Owner trebles. Each compartment is labeled using a label maker with waterproof tape which contains hook model & size.

Split rings are kept in a 6 fixed compartment 344860, 3 sizes of round & 3 sizes of oval, each compartment labeled same as above.

I do not change hooks on the fly while fishing. Hooks & split rings are changed at the house after lures are bought, if at all.

I also love the 3650 box.  I use the big section on the right for hooks in their packages.   I use the divided section for weights, pegs, rings, swivels, etc.

I’ve been using these Plano, side by side organizers. It’s hard to tell by the photo, but closed up, folded in half, they are about 5”x5”

Always looking for a better mouse trap with lure boxes myself. None of them ever seem to work out so I always go back to the regular Plano ones.

I'm curious why no one is using the Meiho tackle box in the US. Few people around me are using them. Meiho is a true JDM brand and makes excellent boxes that are much smaller than Plano, though.

I use the same box as @Scott F. They work great for split rings, glass beads, bobber stops, barrel swivels, split shot, or other small components.

I keep the trebles in the same packaging that they came in.  That way I don't need to remember what size they are.  I put the split rings in an empty pill bottle from the pharmacy.  I write down the ring size with a sharpie across the label.

They appear to be very nice. This is the first I've heard of them.

Good question.  I noticed these at a few JDM sites after I purchased the ones from Amazon. They look to be better built than I what I purchased. They are also fairly inexpensive. Maybe if I make another order in the future I will grab one of them.

@FishTank No need to order from JDM sites, if that is what you were implying. Search for a Meiho model (from their website) & you should find some plastic container suppliers which have them here in the US. 👍

For general terminal tackle this box has been amazing. Waterproof, heavy plastic. I have three now. Those dividers are all removable.

And for occassionally used things, this box is perfect. As an example, all my drop shot and ned terminal is in one of these below. It's probably 4x5x1. Outer lock is solid, haven't had it pop open.
