Honestly I have a Bantam and a couple Elites and to me they dont sit as low as the two I listed above.  Im learning though that the weight of the reel affects me more than the size within reason which is a reason I recommend the Lews Hypermag.  The Daiwa 80H is heavier but sits really low.  It and the Tatula 70 are some of the lowest sitting reels made.

Yeah, I'm very interested in the 70 and 80 size reels, but I'd be a bit concerned about durability fishing frogs all the time with heavy rods and heavy braid. What do you think? Think it could handle it?

That 80 Tatula is a little tank.  I think it would be fine.  I have mine for jerkbaits, buzzbaits, and walking baits with 13 lb Sunline Defier Armilo.

The old lews hypermage maybe my favorite reel and I own Metaniums, Tatula Elites, Zillions (older models), and Bantams.

Dont get me wrong...I love my bantams but the are heavy so I really only use for Cranks/Chatterbaits/Spinnerbaits.

The coastal 80 shares the same metal frame and side plate as the Tatula 80, but you get a deeper spool and a 100mm handle plus extra corrosion resistance. And it’s very small.
