Not that I need anything, but I'll end up buying stuff all year long. I don't even try to fight it at this point. Mainly spinnerbaits and jigs, but swimbaits and poppers too. I just realized that Megabass came out with a Baby Pop X, so that'll be the first domino to fall.

Duo BR

G-Ninus hook keepers for casting reels

Raid Chunk and Bug things

Beast Coast Sniper Jigs...  all of them

I spent about $30 last year on lures and tackle.

Mostly on hooks.

How did you get away from the monkey all the year? Since I learned about that monkey if I don't feed him twice a month it won't leave me alone. Lol

Just remember you bought every lure you own for a logical specific reason.  If you get rid of ten lures, one of those lures is going to be the only lure in whole world that will get the skunk out of the boat on a tough day, and another one would have caught you your PB.  I recommend you reverse your strategy, and buy ten lures for everyone you loose.  Not only will you have the benefit of more lures you can't possibly have time to use, but you will also not be fighting the very forces of nature that make the world stable.  You can always buy your wife a new coat, which should solve the stove pellet problem, and remember there are many fisherman like me that would love to have a garage to fill with baits.  Consider yourself lucky.

Hardbaits I really do not have that much. I go slightly overkill on soft baits and terminal tackle. I have 8 rods/reels. Honestly compared to most of you I don’t have much. I just think I fish more than I do and will lose more than I do each trip.

I didn’t musky fish at all last year don’t really have the interest to anymore. I do have enough equipment to feed a small family for a year.

@Team9nine is a record holder with Zman elaztech. I’ll bet you could easily fish with one bag of elaztech all year because of the durability.

Well I guess we will find out I just ordered some of those Smh jig heads and worms should be here soon.

I’ve never wore an elaztech bait out, I’ve always lost them first.. that said I’ve had several go 40+ fish. I resorted to buying cheap Ned heads from Amazon and I wear them out first. It’s nice that they’ll bend out makes unsnagging them easier but after you bend them back a few times they start bending out too easy on fish, and need to be replaced. I’ll go through 3-5 heads on that same 40 fish plastic.

I need some more chatterbaits, spinnerbaits, and some megabass mag drafts.

Going to give musky fishing a try, but going to use my striper gear.

I have 8 plano boxes, I thought I was getting out of hand.

I bought a typical Christmas tackle warehouse gift card for myself to buy line and terminal tackle once we make it past any ice season.

Plan is to focus on rod and reel repair and maintenance as they have been neglected the past 2 years and have a few out of order.

The one new purchase I plan on getting is bellows gill neko setup, seeing a video I think it will be a crusher on my lakes.

That's an ingenious little rig.

Crankbaits were one of those deals that I told myself I’d be in serious bait monkey trouble with if I ever got into them. Well I’m into em right now and I have this fantastic habit of throwing them around wood so

No kidding. I got a deep cranking itch for smallmouth and wanted to overhaul my jerk baits  and the primate has me by the short hairs.

The last two years it's been an obsession. I finally told myself this year enough was enough. So many times the carts were locked and loaded. So far so good.....

This year the monkey will not get me. I have so many unused baits that it makes no sense purchasing any more. Many of them have been in the package for years and just haven't even look at them after I get them.

Same on rods and reels, I renewed my entire rod locker and kayak arsenal in the last 2 years with mid/higher-ish end gear and I'm still looking at more stuff that I really don't need (want yes)

I got $75 credit in my Omnia account, I plan to order what I need trough the year using only that budget. No expensive new baits for me either, I got enough jackhammers and MB vision 110 to gift to pike for a couple of seasons.

I always get stuck replenishing once or twice during the season, depends what’s working. Just got an order from TW that will get me thru the spring and into summer. Bunch of hooks and 4 or 5 bags of Rage craws and bugs, and 1 spool of leader. I’m going to try to not try baits I’ve not used successfully before and use up some of what I already have.

I’ve been using more than normal as I end up supplying the grand kids with whatever is working when they are along.

I just picked up a few bags of Chinese finesse worms and am really surprised as to the quality. They seem pretty durable and have a lot of wiggle. Funny enough, each bag is labeled by a different company (Bearking is one- can't remember the others) but there's no doubt that they're the same exact worms in each pack under the different labels. The plan is to try them out tomorrow morning!

I saw some shad jumping at one of my newer spots and I think they were a little smaller than I was expecting so one of my new lures for the year is going to be a 2/0 finesse underspin with a 4" easy shiner. I ended up picking up the Scottsboro Tackle Phantom Finesse Underspin but the Picasso Single Barrel also looks like it might be worth trying out. One of my favorite setups is a 6/10 ml xf rod so I've also been looking for other stuff to throw on it besides a drop shot and hoping this one works out...
