I'm looking to get one of the 2 above rods and need help making a decision. I need the rod to be extremely versatile. I plan on heavy flipping 1-2.5 oz, frogs, as well as hard and soft swimbaits. Most of the swimbaits I plan on using will be under 2.5 oz.

I don't know the jungle seven, but thats the wheelhouse for the TB and I'm a huge fan.  A stouter, slightly less sensitive and cheap version that I pair with the TB is MC Days 702X.

Thanks Scott I have a giftcard for a shop that I'm planning on using, they don't have any MC, just megabass, loomis, shimano, and daiwa. Are you aware of any other similar rods in those brands?

If you want a 7' rod to do all those things, I think the TB is perfect.  Super versatile, it does everything well and some things better than anything else I've ever tried; big spoons, 1oz spinnerbaits, bacca burrito, chad shad.   I think you'd love it too.  I just brought up the MC, so if you went the 7'11 route, you would know there's a $140 option that's almost as versatile.

That’s insane!  I’ve come to enjoy the few jdm unique tapers I’ve encountered. Somewhat similar to how mbr actions can do so many things well.

Yeah the JDM version of the MB P5 Destroyers are ridiculously versatile.   The recent 110 stick I got not too long ago really sold me on the JDM line.
