jv17_9 Posted December 25, 2023 Posted December 25, 2023 Are there any good spots to fish at in St Augustine? Quote
Global Moderator TnRiver46 Posted December 25, 2023 Global Moderator Posted December 25, 2023 Absolutely, but I don’t know specifics. My childhood fishing buddy lives there and slays fish in a kayak. I will admit he’s pretty fishy tho, he catches just about anything anywhere @N Florida Mike has probably stomped thru there a few times Quote
Super User N Florida Mike Posted December 25, 2023 Super User Posted December 25, 2023 Ive fished st Augustine a lot more for salt than fresh water my whole life.. The St. Augustine bayfront is a great area. Ive got some good spots there but youll need a boat. Sheephead are in right now…Same thing in the North River there ( Intracoastal waterway). Surf fished in the area my whole life also. There’s also guana river dam where you can wade fish for redfish, flounder, seatrout, etc. I haven’t bass fished as much in st Augustine, but I have a big pond about 15 miles North of st Augustine that’s a good numbers pond if you’re interested in going there. Let me know what you are thinking and I can be more specific… 1 1 Quote
