Glenn has mentioned that the number of new members has grown dramatically.  How cool is that. What might that mean?  Two things.  Questions and responses. New members bring various levels of experience so we all have questions and in many cases, responses that may provide a true answer.  I think this is the foundation of BR.

If you are reading this and have a question then don’t hesitate to ask it.  If you have a response or even want to expand the question, kick in.  This forum has so much diversity and levels of experience it would be a shame not to capitalize on it.  Who’s first?

Your favorite sub $50/$35 bourbon/whiskey?

I currently lean towards Michter’s American Whiskey and Bulliet Bourbon but I’d win if wrong.

How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood ?

.377 of a cord of cotton wood.  A little less for hard woods.

The one in your glass.

It would chuck as much wood as a woodchuck could if a woodchuck could chuck wood.

If the hundreds of lures I already own wont catch a bass, why would an expensive glide bait I am considering buying be irresistible bass?

So around $35? I like Knob Creek, Woodford Reserve, Four Roses Small Batch, and 1792

For just sub 50, I’m told Basil Hayden is really nice stuff

I'm a fan too, woodford is really tough to beat for me.  Basil is good, worth a try.

Nice. Another good one is Maker’s Mark Cask Strength if you ever want something super strong. I don’t drink a lot of that stuff at one time but it’s great

What kind of beer should I drink today? An IPA? Something festive like a Christmas lager? Maybe a coldsnap? Or keep it classic with a Modelo Especial?
