Don't get me wrong - when I was a kid I loved the cold weather, snow, and playing pond hockey with my buddies. It was magical to have a fresh snow on Christmas Eve and Christmas morning.

But now I'm a cranky getting older geezer and I'm not a fan of the cold weather. Lows have been in the 20's here at night with highs in the 40's and mid 50's, but breezy. I'm tired of being cold.

But it looks like my Christmas wishes have come true. Not only has my son moved back home (long story, private matter) but temperatures are going to be in the mid to upper 60's this weekend! You can bet your you-know-what I'm going to be getting some extended time on the water with my new Autopilot 120. I even rigged up one camera mount so I don't have to hear any more from the, "no picture, it didn't happen" crowd 😀

And since I haven't sold my old pedal drive kayak I'll try and get my moody teenage son out on the water. He used to drag me out every chance he got to go fishing, but you know teenagers - if dad likes it then it can't be fun.

I hope that everyone here has a wonderful Christmas. I'm blessed and thankful this year and hope everyone else is as well.
