I have a regular Regal Vise and tiecquite a bit. It does not quite hold big hooks for hair jigs.  Anyone on here tie jigs and if so on what?  The Peak Jurrasic is too expensive  for what few I tie.  Anyonene use the Cascade Crest vises?

Have you tried using vice grips?  I’ve used them to hold hooks and put the grips in a bench vise.  Not the best but functional for a few jigs.

It was a game changer when i upgraded from a AA vice. I expected the o-ring to break but its still holding strong

Actually, that is what I am thinking.  I may get some welded to a rod at an angle.

For $25 the Colorado Supreme 102 works good with jig tool.

Tom

PS, vice grip teeth can damage the hook.

Tom, I ordered one today.  Merry Christmas and thanks for the recommendation.
