Bazoo Posted December 14, 2023 Posted December 14, 2023 I have a friend who picked up this vintage box at a thrift store. He poked at it for a while but finally decided to gift it to me since he got tired of seeing me drool over it. I didn't have a large box before this one, and it's perfect for the overflow that won't fit in the tackle bag I normally use. I love vintage stuff like this. I reckon it takes me back to my childhood. 8 Quote
KP Duty Posted December 14, 2023 Posted December 14, 2023 Right on. When I was 12 (1990), the Plano over-and-under was the box to have. 4 Quote
detroit1 Posted December 14, 2023 Posted December 14, 2023 I still use a Magnum double - sided satchel ( in my boats since the late 70's. ) 1 Quote
Susky River Rat Posted December 14, 2023 Posted December 14, 2023 @KP Duty I actually have one of those. My mom used it for beads and such for crafts. I eventually found it and used it for its rightful purpose. 3 Quote
Super User WRB Posted December 14, 2023 Super User Posted December 14, 2023 I made a case for my Lowrance 1610 graph to take to Canada with 5940. Slide the trays out and made guides to slide in the graph fit perfectly. Transducer and cables in the top. The unit looked like a tackle box, the Canadians didn’t approve of sonar in the 70’s. I have the double sided Plano if anyone is interested just pay the shipping cost. Tom PM for photo 3 Quote
