Search for Daiwa Gillion on Amazon. They have have the 7.1 Zillion in stock for 213.82. Shipping is free but have to pay sales tax. Shipping takes a little longer than Digitaka, about a week and a half. I’ve ordered 2 Zillions from this seller.

Sometimes the all-in deal is better on amazon.com and sometimes it's better to make an account on amazon.co.jp

Back to your line question, if you want to throw all those, your probably better off braid to leader. If you can get by without the frog/top water stuff, straight FC.

I just don't trust anything but straight braid for frogs, and FC is super annoying for anything topwater.

You can always buy a spare spool for braid, I'm pretty sure the 21 Zillion runs a 34mm spool. There are a lot of options out there for a 34mm diawa.

Daiwa Alphas sv tw 800; lighter, lower profile and cheaper than the zillion, seriously underrated reel imo

I'm with you.  Such a great platform and has been rock solid for almost a year now.  This reel bombs 3/8oz on varivas pe #1.2.  Zillions are good too, but Alphas are cheaper and palm better for me.  JDM alphas, bantams, zillion HD, metanium, and zillion is my current ranking of value for price.

The zillion is great and all, but if I could trade mine for another alphas I'd do it right now. When you factor in it has the free floating spool just like the zillion it's a better value imo especially at the $175 you can get it for right now. I've got a lightweight kkr alphas 800 spool inbound from AE, can't wait to see how it responds to a lighter spool. Edit: meant to quote you softwateronly.
