Attainable Goal(s) for 2024

Half a dozen on one?? woow.. I'm lucky if I can get two out of one.. same on Senkos. that's why the $75 for consumables.

my goal is to not enter a hospitol this year to have a surgery performed, november 2022 and september 2023 i had 2 major surgeries.

I have allready attained my goal of building back up my body core strength which now gives me stability i never had before. My glutes are as hard as an iron skillet, so my wife says.

Right there with ya. 2022 and 2023 max out of pockets have taken my Mega 360 money each time.

Two new goals: After watching the bass that other BR anglers catch in cold water, I plan to start fishing sooner this year and stop fishing later. I'll just hug the shorelines to stay safe.

mine are different this year then past 

 

1) have fun and enjoy myself 

2) enjoy the adventure of being in the water 

3) keep learning

4) catch a michigan master angler of any species but, preferably a large mouth or smallie.

I've made it 43 days through my 2024 attainable goal without buying any tackle.  I'm afraid this goal is going to end in about a month at the annual BPS/Cabela's Spring Sale because I've got a mountain of gift cards to use.  At least I made it longer than @Woody B did though.  He didn't even make it a month before he had to get a haircut.

My 16yo. daughter doesn't fish much (I invite regularly but it always seems I'm going too early, it's too hot, too windy, I'm going for too long, or she just doesn't feel like it when I invite)... but she announced at the dinner table the other night that's she's looking forward to fishing this year.  That swelled my heart.

 

So, my goal for 2024 is to take my daughter fishing and have a "good" couple hours of action.  On the rare occasions she's come, she smiles ear to ear when she has a fish on.  And a couple times she's lost a nice one she just laughs and casts again.  I would LOVE to see her catch a good one, but just a couple hours of her smiling and me netting would make my season.  Wouldn’t hurt at all if she got interested enough to come more often. 🥰

 

Beyond that, I'll just be happy every time I turn the key on our little bass boat and stuff my cell phone into a dry bag for the day.
