After heavily fishing this for a solid 4 months, more SEVIIN GF reels are on my Christmas wish list!

Man I wish I could justify spending more money….. I see that trigon handle and I want some of those rods so bad….. although I still love my current mojos 

 

Also what does GF stand for in gf series anyways, all I can think of when I see that is girlfriend

It's actually for Gordon Francis (Schluter). Gordon bought St. Croix in 1977 and as you know his children still run it to this day as the board of directors. 

 

It was done to pay homage to Gordon and his entrepreneurial spirit.
