What would be a good soft swim bait rod? Swim baits that are 6 to 8 inches long? I would say under $150.00.

Thanks for your input

Okuma Guide Select are great for softies.

The Tatula 7'9" is good too

I throw my 6-8" paddletails on a SLX A 7'2" H. It's rated up to 1.5oz which is where most of these fall for me. It's a super light rod for a $99 heavy. They've also got a 7'5" if you want more length

It’s not length of the swimbait it’s weight.

3-6 oz. IROD Gen 3 IRG794SB, 7’9” $150

I've been very happy with my Okuma Guide Select rods. I use them for smaller musky cranks. I'd go with the 8' H for the baits you mentioned. It's rated 2-10 oz.
