Super User Darth-Baiter Posted November 26, 2023 Super User Posted November 26, 2023 on paper, I would imagine they come out similar. but they couldn't be more different. I am simmering away my turkey carcass(s), and my house is perfumed by the smell of a wonderful broth!! I should end up with a lot of broth!! I'll make a rice porridge with some immediately, and freeze the rest of it for various uses. I probably like the stuff I make with the stock, almost equally as much as I enjoy the actual Thanksgiving dinner itself!! I usually grab my BIL's turkey carcass as well, but this year I didn't make it to his home to eat. and I didnt get any Hambone this year..boooo!!! no hambone beans. boo!! Quote
