castaway Posted November 25, 2006 Posted November 25, 2006 I haven't used Sun yet, but I also heard good things about it.I have used Jinkai and Toray line and I loved both brands, but they are pricey if you change line alot.If you buy Sun line, I would be interested in what your thoughts are on it. P-Line has been very good line for me as well, I like the floroclear line. Ivan Quote
Bud Posted November 25, 2006 Posted November 25, 2006 I use Sunline Defier in # 13 and love the stuff. I have use the Sunline defier since last spring and have not change line once and I fish several time a week all year long. It is strong and holds a knot well plus no memory. When you first cast it you will have the coils but on the second cast they will be gone. The Defier is rather pricey at $37.00 for 330 yards. but it is excellent line. The great thing is you don't have to change line as ofter so it is not as expensive. The bait shop were I shop gave me a spool of machine gun cast and the only thing I don't like about it is the color. It is a gold or copper color and I don't care for it. In early spring I was out of yo zuri and loaded Sunline Defier on my spinning rod It worked great as good as Yo Zuri. The only thing it is #13 were I like lighter line on spinning rods. I will continue to use Sunline for I like it. Bud Quote
The_Natural Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 I've only used the FC Sniper fluorocarbon, and it is the best fluoro I have used (and I've tried a bunch!). It's too expensive for me, so I use Vanish. Quote
