Alex from GA Posted November 25, 2023 Posted November 25, 2023 Went down to the dock this afternoon to check on the boat and while I was there I had to throw a worm in the water. I doodled up a 13" LM inside the dock then doodled up this Alabama outside in some brush. 15". BTW the boat was fine. 12 Quote
Super User Swamp Girl Posted November 27, 2023 Super User Posted November 27, 2023 Hey, this is one of those I-happened-to-go-fishing-on-the-way-to-the-grocery-store deals! If I had a dock, I too would be checking-on-the-boat 😉-😉 several times a day. 2 2 Quote

Super User Swamp Girl Posted November 27, 2023 Super User Posted November 27, 2023 I could be your dock supervisor. I might stumble on your dock into a fishing rod and then trip and accidentally cast it. A lot. 1 3 Quote
RipzLipz Posted November 27, 2023 Posted November 27, 2023 @galyonj with his accidental wrong turns. @ol'crickety with her 50+ stumbling casts…. You all sure are accident prone. Well look at that….I backed into the driveway, hit my boat & it landed right in the bed of my truck! 2 Quote
RipzLipz Posted November 27, 2023 Posted November 27, 2023 @galyonj How’s the COVID getting along? Getting better? 1 Quote
Super User Swamp Girl Posted November 27, 2023 Super User Posted November 27, 2023 Yes, we are accident prone. Perhaps you could buy me a couple walking sticks so I'm less likely to trip. I'm thinking 7'2" MH fast action walking sticks. 1 2 Quote
Global Moderator TnRiver46 Posted November 27, 2023 Global Moderator Posted November 27, 2023 You’re hired, that’s just what we were looking for 2 Quote
galyonj Posted November 27, 2023 Posted November 27, 2023 @RipzLipz I was pretty much over the worst of it a few days after I tested positive. I've still got a productive cough, but that's about all that it left we with. Coulda been way worse, given how jacked up my immune system is. I'm frankly shocked that we were able to evade it until now, given that SWMBO works in a public-facing healthcare job. How 'bout you? 1 Quote
RipzLipz Posted November 27, 2023 Posted November 27, 2023 @galyonj I had to Google SWMBO to be sure, now LMAO @ she who must be obeyed. I’ve been lucky so far. No COVID but we went down to Guntersville early in October & my dad & another guy both tested positive a week after returning home. I never had symptoms so never went to get tested. 3 days after we got home, dad & mom drove out to CO & that’s when dad found out he was positive & then mom tested positive. Dad still has cough but both seem to be over it. His immune system is compromised due to medication he takes for Crohn’s so COVID was a concern. I’m guessing the vaccination & cocktail of meds he received got him over it quickly. 2 Quote
